Recently with the final publication of the article in the San Mateo Daily Journal I got a call from a former Stanford aeronautical engineer with experience building F1 race cars using carbon fiber. Wow! What a hit. A couple of team members went to meet this legend and we had a good conversation about the challenges we face in trying to build a new car company. We talked about potential enhancements to the existing Wikispeed car design and posed a few questions we will have to ask Joe Justice.
We all agreed the most important characteristic of the car to keep in mind is the ultra efficiency - #100mpg must be maintained.
I wonder how much different early Tesla conversations looked from our own.
